1 qt half and half
12 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch salt
beat eggs with sugar, pinch of salt, and vanilla until mixture is creamed
add half and half and stir until well mixed
serve in small glasses with nutmeg sprinkled on top
